I think "graded courses" or better yet "courses taken for credit" (some schools don't have grades) is about as standard as you're going to be able to get. If possible, please, please, please make sure that your multiple teams are arranged such that A>B>C>D etc. Tournaments with round robin pools will go under this assumption. We have reached our first field cap of sixteen teams. I will put additional teams on a waiting list until I can secure enough staff to expand. Teams that can provide competent moderators or buzzer systems will have priority on the waiting list.

Mellon Bowl is now a PACE Gold Qualifier. The top 20% of the field will qualify for NSC.

CMU will most likely bid for the Western PA championships for either February 28 or March 21.

Pitt will probably hold their fall IS-set tournament on 11/15 or 11/22.

So, yeah, I would not really consider bias a factor. Put the best moderators on the games that matter most. Sub out slow moderators/give them scorekeepers if you have the human resources to do so. Hold basic training before the tournament so moderators know how to avoid easy mistakes that slow down...

Winchester Thurston's tournament on IS-131A has apparently changed dates again to April 5. Rockwood (about 50 miles southeast of Pittsburgh) is running IS-135A the following Saturday.

The History Bowl (on B set) at Manheim Township has been postponed to March 15. Registration is still open for any teams that couldn't attend the February 15th tournament.
