For one thing, where in Sam Hill is Etowah? My admittedly limited knowledge of Georgia quizbowl doesn't recall that name. Etowah's in northern Georgia (Cherokee County, to be specific). In my experience playing them, they got good at the beginning of 2012 and have been steadily improving ever since.
