We can't run a winter tournament because nobody's on campus right now, but 2/26 might work. The only problem is that it might be too late to make room reservations for that date.

Looking at the field for Prison Bowl, though, it seems that quite a few local teams are either heading up or are interested in going. Would 4/23 work?

Trey and I are certainly going to join the team and see where it goes from there. Practices haven't started yet, but once they begin we'll have a better idea of the future.

The last I heard from Tressler, he was about to move out to AC but decided not to. You'd have to ask him for more info.

It's hard to imagine Charter not being able to travel. It's only one year removed from double National Championships. Very very puzzling!!! Not when the principial is bent on denying the team funds. Apparently, academic teams will only get funding for in-state ventures, which doesn't amount to much...

I will also write for FNT, but I'm not sure how well (other than personnel) the Charity set will roll into the FNT; some (actually, a lot) of the answer selection on the Google Doc for the Charity set is way harder than I remember FNT being last year. The set was enjoyable to play overall. Most of the tossups were good, except the difficulty fluctuated here and there. The bonuses were harder in general, but that's a good warmup for nationals. Overall, a job well done.

We had a good time, and the tournament was very well-run; my only qualm was that we had to be inside on such a beautiful day. Also, I want to congratulate CR for a great match today, I think that's the first time I've ever played a sudden death question, and quizbowl doesn't get any better than that.

Thanks for running this tournament, the set was very enjoyable to play and the tournament was well-run (getting home at 8:30 is always great).
