I think you mentioned having a power cord from one of the sets left there Charles, and I think that we left a power cord there. So if you do in fact have one, we would love to get it back sometime (like Earlybird). WUSTL is also missing a power cord. When I see it next, I will try to take a picture...

Just out of curiosity, I have two stupid questions: 1 - Why didn't people raise issues with eligibility restrictions at EFT before the tournament took place? Man, if I'd known grad students were allowed to play, I would've come to this tournament. It's one of those things where the UIUC mirror of EFT pretended to be MCMNT, but then failed at enforcing it, especially by not following up on it. Since this was EFT, I wasn't going to enforce the MCMNT rules...

Another related thing I hear people who don't want to play quizbowl say is that it merely tests "rote" knowledge. I think there is a mindset, even (especially?) among smart people, that discourages knowing lots of things. Many people don't like so-called useless information or the people that posse...

Illinois Novice (otherwise known as MCMNT) won't be taking place this year. We have merged this tournament with EFT.

Also, I think Delta Burke is supposed to take place on November 13th (though I don't know where).
