If I am reading this right, you are saying that your B team gave someone's last name, we're prompted for the first name, and did both of those things correctly. If that's the case, I really don't understand how the other team had grounds to lodge a protest, let alone win a protest.

The real crippling flaw of the Bykowski ranking was really the fact that he included results from every bad tournament he could get his hands on. If it were brought back with only tournaments being run on A-sets or better being included, I would have really enjoy having that to rank teams too, sort...

Nope. But I can tell you that the Milligan camp has 149 student campers, 9 adult campers, and 17 staff. Dunbar has 3 kids regsitered: John, Valerie, and Vania. 149? Wow. I second the statement that reading the actual books/poems/plays is the best.. I agree with this as well, but you're not going to be able to read everything. I mean stuff that comes up over and over, especially poems and short stories, you should try to read so you can consistently get those early....

Yeah learning from packets helps. It can go a bit slow though.

Whenever I want to pick up a lot of information really fast I look at old bonuses. They often have a clue that i haven't learned yet or somehow tie into other things.

Yeah dude. If worse comes to worse you can always attend tournaments as "Pallet Town Prep" or something like that. Ohio has a pretty solid good quiz-bowl circuit going and I'm sure that a good amount of tournaments would help you out in coming to their tournaments if your team needed it.
