Re: Clearinghouse for Random Packet Announcements

Shan Kothari won my packet, despite arriving halfway through, and John Lawrence came in a close second. The "Upload attachment" thing seems not to be working, so I guess those of you who weren't there won't get to enjoy my questions.

VCU Open at Michigan - August 8

The traditional Michigan mirror of VCU Open will take place on August 8 on the 4th floor of Lorch Hall , starting at 9 A.M. As is also traditional, since we aren't able to book rooms in the summer, we will be squatting in the few rooms which aren't locked. As such, I'll be capping the field at 8 tea...

Certainly as a moderator I'll accept answers that I know to be correct, even if they're not listed, but the keyword is know . Unlike Ike, I don't think it's obviously correct that "Proust" should be acceptable for the narrator of In Search of Lost Time , since the narrator, while clearly semi-autobi...

Re: Clearinghouse for Random Packet Announcements

My packet happened, and Rob put in a shameful performance, scoring 80 points while the rest of the room combined for 85. Yet again, Cody disappointed me by failing to get a particular tossup (although in fairness, it was because he wasn't paying attention).
