Should we just go through volumes of packets just to see what is asked or should we actually read textbooks and do as much "real" learning as possible on these subjects? I don't know much about the current league or who runs it, but they should strongly consider expanding. If you do start a league with a completely separate group of teams, that same NAQT set would be available. Otherwise, HSAPQ has sets that are unused in Michigan available for League use.

Just pointing out that #71 "Utica", is "Utica Academy", the IB school for Utica Community schools. That should not be confused with Utica High School in the same district, that to my knowledge has no quiz bowl team.

If your coaches don't want to go, and you aren't getting any funding from your school, it is possible that you may not need a coach to chaperone you to tournaments.
