Re: How far back are NAQT Questions truly useful?

A year or two ago, a colleague passed me a box of old NAQT sets, some still in their wrappers, that dated back to my era as a student (one of them was notably from the first tournament BCA Quiz Bowl ever attended in 2000), and on a lark I've read a few packets. They are, as Lee mentions, outright te...

If you're fairly confident a mistake was made, it's not a bad thing to try to clarify what was said and what the answer was. One of the issues that can come up in games between teams of widely differing skill levels, especially on tossups, is that the better team says something which is not exactly ...

Sorry that it took so long, I was basically trying to spend a few weeks, well, not caring about quiz bowl (or school stuff in general).

Anyway... Using Casey's post and NAQT's tournament list, I made a first draft of the calendar. I'll update it as I get a chance.

I'm disappointed that the creator-creation rule has been removed; I've been advising players for years that they're allowed to give that compound answer if they lose track of the pronouns, and I find it has helped make new players at least a little less hesitant to buzz in. My favorite thing about NSC is the seedings only serve as a barrier to a title or high finish if you let them.
