http://naqt.com/hsnct/reserved-berths.html says championships have to be held on or before 24 April to have a reserved berth, but (if I counted right) there were only 187 teams in the field as of the last update.

Speaking solely for myself, I was able to book the Hyatt Fair Lakes at $59/night in Fairfax, which is 7 miles from GMU. They offer complimentary transportation to the Vienna Metro station.
