Ok so we are now at 32 teams, and thanks to Richard Yu procuring us an extra room this means we can have all the game rooms in Eads Hall instead of splitting it over two buildings as in previous years! I will be sending coaches a note shortly.

Game rooms will be in Eads Hall and Siegle Hall (Numbers 33 and 97, respectively).

Re: ACF Fall 2014 Great Lakes @ Ohio State 11/8/14

In addition, having the rosters in advance means you can create sqbs files before the event which saves your stat person a lot of time and frustration (particularly if whomever wrote the roster down has bad handwriting) the morning of the event. Also, it means your stat person is free the first roun...

Now that I seem to have regained the ability to speak in complete sentence, some additional thoughts: First I want to say it was truly an honor to host such a large and diverse field. A big part of the reason I was so keen on doing a full round robin was so teams could hit people that they usually w...

But the thing is, you don't have to know subway geography really at all to know that. I haven't been to NYC in over a decade and barely recall it but what other major city is going to have a major amusement park and THAT many routes? It all seems quite fraudable in power.

Re: ICCS ("Collegiate Novice") @ Ohio State 9/20/14

That absolutely defeats the purpose of having a pool in the first place. A team that would normally be fourth could have missed the three statistically best teams and still be undefeated. In this event I would have sacrificed your house team and ran a full round robin.

Re: ICCS ("Collegiate Novice") @ Ohio State 9/20/14

These stats make no sense. Are rounds missing? Because it looks like you were doing a round robin, stopped after round seven with one team at 6-1, another at 5-1, and another at 5-2 and had a "two game advantaged final" between the first two teams? We could only play seven games (ten packets, 2 for...
