Re: Super Smart Brothers Brawl (duPont Manual Tourney Interest)

I'd say go for Oct. 30th, because of PSAT on the 16th.
I know that would reduce Grayson from three to one team because of losing six juniors (including me.)
The September date would be okay if the 30th, didn't work out.

Kentucky '10-'11

Well, it looks like the season is finally over, so we might as well start a new topic. Next year is going to be a great season for Kentucky quizbowl with most of our top players returning. So here are some topics to start the year off with: (Some of this may seem repetitive or self explanatory, but ...

Okay, we will probably try to do something along the lines of NAQT IS with a better distribution.
That's something that would be better for the field as a whole.

What teams would be interested if we made this tournament a higher level difficulty event? We are starting the writing process this summer and need to know what type of teams should be the target. I would love to write an HSNCT level event, albeit without crazy amounts of bad trash questions.

That is more what I was trying to get at; you said it much more effectively.
I think popular culture deserves a small part in the distribution because it does have a significant influence on society.
