Seeing as how we did it last week, the pools at ASCA competitions are drawn at random. We have team names on paper and pull at random to get the pools. However it comes out is how it is.

It could have run a little bit faster, but it went fine after the first couple of rounds. The questions were worded a little bit oddly and could have been more pyramidal, but nothing horrible. Overall, though, a good tournament.

Today at ASFA we beat a team 375-5 in ASCA format. So basically the team had a 20 item worksheet that counts 5 points each, and they got 1 out of 20 o n the worksheet. That's pretty bad.

I think it probably got shot down because it's hard to determine which teams are the "top 4." I think the ASCA folks are just set in their ways and, quite frankly, I think Alabama won't get a whole lot stronger until ASCA steps it up a little bit.

Actually, if it has a light blue background, then it's a song called V, which is actually another techno-classical blend. V's pretty hard, I think Kakumei is a little bit tricker, but V requires more speed. V is patterned after Vivaldi's Winter (of the Four Seasons).
