Truman is planning on coming as far as I know. I don't know why they have been so difficult to pin down. I will find out about this and let you guys know.

Re: ACF Fall at Truman State University
UIUC and WUSTL were playing an advantaged final when I left earlier (WUSTL had a one game advantage). Truman A placed third with two losses to UIUC and a split with WUSTL.

I personally would not have a problem with them in the Other Science section but I'm not well versed in the QB demarcation issue. Perhaps this has been discussed at length in the past but I'm not sure. Popper, Lakatos, Feyerabend, the Problem of Induction, falsification, Kuhn, tacking problem, and s...

Re: Penn Bowl Mirror at Truman State (1/30/10)
I am currently looking to re-schedule this to 2/13/10 because this would probably not interfere with the T-Party field for UMN. This seems like the most plausible date at this point and I will let you know when a final decision has been made.

Penn Bowl Mirror at Truman State (CANCELLED)
I regret to announce that the Penn Bowl mirror at Truman State will not take place on 2/13/10 as planned. With less than a week to go, we had only two confirmed teams (Jason Loy and St. Louis Community College), and Charles Hang was interested in playing solo. Talking it over with Hank, we decided i...

I agree with Charlie. Although this tournament is relatively close to us, I can't really justify recommending our team attend an IS event...even our younger guys. Those questions will hardly help make our players better. If you find a better question option, we would be much more likely to attend.

I will take the blame for the Bridges of Konigsberg tossup, although I don't think it suffered for lack of uniquely-identifying clues. It may not have been the best idea for a tossup so I apologize if it seemed like a strange choice.

You can take the Metro from the airport to downtown. Conveniently, the Metro also stops near Kayak Cafe, which is right by WashU's campus. If you time everything correctly and leave early enough, you should have no problem...unless there is an issue with the Metro that I am unaware of at the moment.
