No plans to be involved in quizbowl in CT, yet. More math team than quizbowl. Jonathan Legendre who co-coached with me the whole time at Latin will be continuing on as coach.

IHSA Advisory Committee Redux
Here are some notes about the about the IHSA Advisory Committee Meeting today. As noted about Reinstein was not present and not invited, though it seems that the reasons for that may have been a misreading of messages and that the situation may be rectified soon. Those in attendance were Cynthia Wie...

Re: Illinois '10 - '11
At our meeting this year, I didn't put quite the tight lid on the discussion. We did go around the room and pat ourselves on the back as required by the rules, but then we also had a lively discussion after but before the voting. People asked, have you played so and so? What about so and so's record...

I would like to second that the question set was very good. Certainly for what it was intended to be, I don't know that I could ask for better. Starting on time, a little more direction for the teams (when to eat, where to eat, what the rules are, etc.), sharing scores, and standings. These could be...

Could you post a conversion analysis for a IHSA set? The data do not exist. The IHSA only requires that final scores be reported, and I'm not aware of any hosts tracking other stats.
