To Mt. Vinokurov...was there any reason you needed the stats so promptly? Fantasy teams? I was under the impression cursing (by attendees) was warranted by some number of days >2. I hate to say this but turns out March 12th is the 2nd to last day of spring break so it'll be hard to muster up anyone. I should keep track of these things now that I'm not a student. I personally might still be able to come up, we'll see. Edit: Yeah work is keeping me out of this unfortunately :sa...

Re: Sack of Antwerp mirror @ U. Delaware, 3/12/11
Normally this would be at the edge of our non-nationals range but there's a good chance I'll be going to Delaware next year for grad school and I haven't visited UD yet, plus we have plenty of money left this year to spend on a hotel, so W&M is tentatively down for this.

The William & Mary Quizbowl club will be hosting ACF Regionals on Sunday, February 27, 2011. Dan Leifer will likely be the tournament director for this. This tournament will take place in Morton Hall (registration room TBA soon). There's a parking lot right next to that building. The tournament ...

Well, yes, but then you have so much data--the order in which buzzes occurred means that you probably have a way to keep track of when, absolutely, they occurred--that you can do still more with it. You know how at the end of a football game the players all get really close to each other and then t...

So there is a good possibility now that we will get a few more rooms(enough to take the people on the waitlist and maybe a few more), but it's not a sure thing yet. There is a fallback option of having games in one of the hallways or in the building's courtyard. If teams are willing to possibly end...

At the Duke site they basically let ties stand so there could be more rounds. After all this is a novice tournament geared towards getting young players game time experience more than anything, so I'd say letting everyone have 10 games is optimal.
