Last year I read multiple packets of the 2012 Cheyne Film Tournament to Anderson Roloff, who first-lined a bunch of tossups, although I have beaten him to Fellini whom he hates, so he's probably slightly more of a Hollywood player than a European art film player, I could be wrong here.

As someone who has played certamen throughout middle and high school and played all levels from regionals to nationals, I have had writing a pyramidal certamen set and lobbying for format reform on my mind for several years. I would also be interested in either writing or playing for such an event.

Look no further than the Stanford Regionals site for an example of this; there were 6 UG teams at the tournament, allowing a UG title to be awarded and thus a bid to Nationals on that basis, but 4 of those teams were HS teams. I believe the tossup on momentum had a clue about c being raised to the three-halves power in the Planck momentum. I can't think of an actual importance of knowing that fact, and it just seems like rote memorization to me.
