Just wanted to say how proud I am of Honaker and Central for taking home the 1A and 2A state titles today.

This is especially noteworthy given that Central had to beat Maggie Walker to clinch the title, which they did handedly.

Great job to these teams for representing Southwest Virginia!

I didn't realize Roanoke was considered Southwest Virginia lol. As for Single-A, Honaker and George Mason will of course be favored. Anyone else with insight on the smaller schools, particularly in Deep SWVA's Region D?

Tournament will be on 26 Jan at Union HS in Big Stone Gap, VA. Who all will be there? I know Honaker obviously will be & Virginia High and Lebanon are representing the Clinch Mountain District but that's all I know for now
