Re: Subject-specific player polls
I say this because I think this thread is likely to make zero progress if a whole bunch of people just post to say, "My teammate is really good at X. I saw him second-line a tossup on Y one time!" For what it's worth, I'm more interested in those kind of posts than in making any real &quo...

Re: ACF Nationals Thanks and Discussion
The physics in this set was more than competently filled out. The "something for everyone" philosophy seemed to apply here-- I found a handful of questions to be extremely cool (quantization, 2D, amplitudes, jets), and the majority to be quite good in the usual way. My only complaint were ...

AVOGADRO'S NUMBER General Discussion
Here's the general discussion thread for AVOGADRO'S NUMBER. I had a great time writing this set-- it was fun to write about some more out-there topics. I do wish we'd had more time to edit submissions and get more feedback on our questions, but I think for an after-ICT diversion it worked out pretty...

Based on the number of people who want to play we're going to go to teams of 3 now-- free agents can join up with other teams, though I may veto good players joining teams that already look pretty strong. The reason for this is that I think the ideal schedule is: --5 game round robin with 2 brackets...

My plan is to have at least 8 packets of 24 tossups. If there are more submissions then we will have more but I'm fine with running an 8 round event and then letting people play the other packets at some other event or on IRC. Or it can wait until the next tournament with a strong field.
