I say RM; partially cuz they won by the largest margin in the semis, but also cuz they just seem to have a slight edge over wj and blake sans braun; but still, it seems pretty much even.

United does it; it was done rather recently. They did plan to offer it awhile back, but then they decided to route that flight to Beijing instead.
United also flies direct flights from San Francisco to Shanghai as well; its "only" 12 hours then.

I think that April 17th would be a better date, as May 3 is the beginning of APs and yes, April 30 is the Itsac Semifinal; having both days occupied the day before APs start would probably not be a great idea.
