I'm going to throw out my name as a blanket offer for tournaments in search of volunteers. It's been a while since I've read for anything not NHBB, so I'd like to de-rust and be a member of the community again! Feel free to email me if you're directing a tournament and you need some more moderators!...

It may be a little early for this already, but I had nothing better to do this morning so I wrote up my notes from this weekend. Re: New York Discussion 2012-13
I understand, but historically these decisions are far above us. I understand the criticisms of non-NAQT tournaments, but it's more of a matter of historical decisions and school policy limits. We don't decide where our resources go. We used to do Kellenberg and Hills, but cuts have taken that away...

Re: Half Hollow Hills West Invitational (Dix Hills, NY 1/7/2012)
Worth noting, if we get to 107 teams, then 15% is greater than 16. By NAQT's qualification metric, all teams "tied for 17th" (i.e. all 32 playoff teams) would get HSNCT bids. I find it likely that this is not that, but does anyone know what the record is for largest non-HSNCT tournament i...

I think Kellenberg can manage to lose Nik without too much pain. I have to entirely disagree with you. Kellenberg has relied on Nik for basically the last 5 years.
