Re: THUNDER II at Penn 12/4/10

Oh for the love of God. Dan Passner is sick and someone else can't go. So Columbia is down to one team. Sorry, this has all been completely last-minute but there's nothing I can do about it.

Re: THUNDER II at Penn 12/4/10

Um, actually, forget about the previous post I guess. I think we're going to bring two teams and I can work this out directly via e-mail, Rafael just sent me all the relevant contact info and such. (Wait, why does this post just go up whereas the previous one needed to be approved by a moderator? .....

Re: THUNDER II at Penn 12/4/10

Hi, this is Josh from Columbia. It's possible we'll only want to send one team. I'll do my best to let you know by the end of today. I wouldn't have brought it up-- Rafael says he had to pester you a lot to get a second team in-- but apparently you have one team too many anyway, so I figured this co...

Re: ANNOUNCEMENT: ECSO2 @ Hunter College (7/10/10)

If possible, I'd like to register a team consisting of myself, Maggie Tse, Tim Sun, and Andrew Brickman. We will also be able to provide 2 buzzer sets if needed.

Re: ACF Regionals at Columbia University

Just a few comments/updates: -First, apologies to Ian Eppler. (I guess we were impressed by his astronomy knowledge.) -A new version of the stats with Round Report should have been uploaded and stats/names should all be fixed. -We are not sure why NYU left before the finals brackets. -The "Dart...

Re: ACF Regionals at Columbia University

As John said, Yale A was pretty much entangled in a fight to the death with Brown throughout the tournament - Brown beat Yale A in the preliminary round-robin for a tied record, Yale A beat Brown in the playoff bracket to come ahead by one game, Brown beat Yale A in the first tiebreaker, and then Ya...

Re: ACF Regionals at Columbia University

As of 2/7/10 the field is: RPI: 1 team NYU: 2 teams Hunter HS: 1 team Dartmouth: 1-2 teams Yale: 2 teams Penn: 1 team We're still missing a lot of the usual schools, so I imagine the field will still be growing quite a bit. If you could let me know of your intent to play by Tuesday night, that would...

Re: ACF Regionals at Columbia University

Hi everyone,

Just a reminder to e-mail [email protected] to register as soon as you're able. We're trying to work out some logistics, which is hard to do well without a rough estimate on the number of teams. Thanks!
