There was a pre-nats octangular this past Saturday at the U of I (Champaign-Urbana), mirroring the Prison Bowl set.
The stats were done using neg-5, and can be seen from the IHSSBCA tournament central page.

Fred - Here are two college sets played by several Illinois teams that I don't see on your list: the Missouri Open college set used at the New Trier Varsity Tournament Dec. 19 - uber division.
Also, the ACF Fall set at NIU on Nov. 7. DCC also played at NIUI.

In the interests of accuracy. . .the score was 350 -270, the two teams combining to score 620 out of the 640 points available - two bonus parts were not converted by either team. Thanks, Brad and Kristin, for hosting this. Although we got off to a slow start, we enjoyed the day. A stats correction that doesn't make a difference in the outcome, but in the interest of accuracy: in the tie-breaker we played against Aurora Way East (315-10), we just heard 13, not 20, tossups.

If the questions were at the level of difficulty of the PACE NSC, then I would certainly favor awarding 20 points for a power. However, since they are at a "regular" level of difficulty, it will be 15.

Since it looks like Belvidere North is no longer hosting a tournament on Feb. 4, Auburn would like to take that date to host a varsity tournament, not yet named. It is being housewritten by our seniors, mainly Lloyd and Abid, with some help from alumni.

Matt - I think all of the AA players' names are spelled right. For class A, I'm sure the Keith player's name is spelled with just an "f", not "pf". I don't know for sure about the other class A names. . .esepcially Greg's surname :smile:
