If you love South America as much as the people in this thread seem to, Cueto's The Blue Hour is an excellent book you probably won't learn about through quiz bowl.

I agree with Bruce, and apparently everyone else, that there is sometimes a liberal bias in question tone, but in many ways quizbowl has a conservative bias in topics. What would be wrong with leaving some discretion to NAQT officials to determine whether or not teams can shuffle players between SCT and ICT? The default could be no shuffling, and teams could make appeals if they have a legitimate reason to alter their rosters.
