Yes, it was an e-mail from that organization headed up by that person, so I won't take it seriously. Hrm, I guess I'm concerned how they found my e-mail address.

Legitimate competition?

Hi,

I recently received an e-mail invitation for my teams to participate in the Longfellow Academic Challenge on Feb. 13 in Falls Church, VA. Because I'm new at coaching, I wanted to verify the legitimacy of the competition. Thanks again for your help.

Competitions

Hi. If anyone sees this, are there any updates about upcoming tournaments that my middle schoolers may attend? So far, I've found The Knowledge Master Open and the Thinking Cap Quiz Bowl. If anybody has any experience with the aforementioned competitions, please share. Thanks!

Thanks. I contacted Patricia at Charlottesville High. Any ideas for which question packets would be suitable for 6th to 8th graders?
