This tournament is now about six weeks away. We only have three teams signed up officially so far, so it'd be great if we could get in more registration earlier rather than later like at TJIAT.

Yeah, you're right. I misread your sentence about the A sets being more appropriate for newer teams the first time I read it and somehow thought you wrote that they should have used an A-set. Why would you even post that on the forums? I'm sure a lot of hard work and planning was put into making this tournament successful, and believe it or not, it can be fun to play rounds that aren't all 20/20 6-8 line tossups. I haven't actually looked at the set or played this, but I'm just saying......

Thanks to Mehdi, Chris White, and anyone else on the Upenn team/the other coaches that came out and made this an excellent tournament. As far as this set goes and ignoring power placement, random countries/regions showing up repeatedly, and grammatical errors, I think this set was great for top-tier...

Just to be clear, TJ's A team for this year is Stephen, Diana, Olivia, and myself.
We also have another great science player, Greyson Lewis, who wasn't able to attend either NSC or HSNCT this year, but he will certainly make an impact at any tournaments he attends.

sadly, the Longfellow that has been going to quizbowl tournaments in the DC area is indeed going to NAC. But since they're a middle school, I don't know if you can really blame them.
