Congrats to Centennial for going undefeated in one of the toughest fields I've seen at state. I'm sure that the "unexpected" results speaks more towards the quality of the GA teams, especially since there was no clear favorite this year.

I just think that using paper tiebreakers to decide the state championship would be a bit disappointing, to say the least. Also, the legitimacy of head-to-head is dubious at best (see this thread for data). We'll be playing at most 9 rounds, so why can't we spare 1 or 2 more to break ties the right...

It seemed to me that the questions were on average mediocre and oftentimes poor. I don't think I heard a good art or music question for most of the tournament. Current rankings and justifications. I agree with your rankings, although I do think that (having never faced Centennial), Central Gwinnett should be in top 5. The only major things that caught my eye in the first packet were putting Cumean sybil and f/64 in the first lines of their respective questions (The Wasteland, Ansel Adams). Those clues seemed more familiar than some of the following ones.
