We would certainly attend if it is on the Friday before HSNCT.
I think that would be an interesting/unique oppertunity.

I'm not sure if we could make it on the other days, but neither of those dates seems to have a clear advantage over the other.

We will not have our full team for this event, but it should still be enjoyable.
Looks like a nice field.

We have decided to move a couple of our B-team members up onto the A-team, so don't expect B to be very strong at all.

I'm not familiar with this system. How exactly does this work? Do they eliminate any sub scores from total score calculation that are distant from other sub scores? I'm not sure I see the logic behind this system. It would seem to me that the flat out simplest, and best way to calculate a comp scor...

About the outlier system, I am saying that the intentions are good, but the system does not work as it is intended. For example... A student who had the following ranks 1st, 2nd, 4th, 9th would finish above a student ranked 1st, 2nd, 4th, 8th. Because the 9th would qualify as an outlier and the 8th ...

Midwest completely slipped my mind. We are actually thinking about going there, so using DII would make no sense. So, we still have Prison Bowl, IS 104, 102, and the HSAPQ sets to work with. The questions were quite awful. Several of them were repeated word for word in two different rounds. Then, the 30 etymology questions seemed like a bit much... Manual is going to do a mirror of PSAT.

I suggest that WKU do a mirror of Prison Bowl (or any other good set) on a weekend between district and regional KAAC.

We are probably going to have a tournament on HSAPQ questions.

I'd like to see this tournament use the card system if you have 32 teams, like Wright State did last year. It is great for letting teams play other teams of a similar caliber.

There is pretty much no way we will be in the top 25, but we do return our 148.1 PPG team from HSNCT (which didn't have two of our three leading scorers) that was also 5th in KY.
