I received the sectional questions at least a week ago. Unfortunately, I've been assigned to a sectional without a host. I predict an insanely long drive to either Palatine, Sterling, or Rockford during which I'll spend more money on gas than the IESA will pay me to moderate.

I don't really know much about Hawthorn North/South, but based on the results of the Barrington Invitational, Carl Sandburg is no pushover (especially with the unpredictable nature of QG). From what I can tell, it looks like Longfellow had the opportunity to answer 33 bonus parts missed by their opponents. They converted on 25 of 33 parts or at a rate of 7.57 points (out of a possible 10) per bouncepark part. I don't know how that compares to the rest of the field or if it's at all us...

With the recent additions of King's Academy (West Chicago, IL) and a second team from Flanagan Jr. High, the field is officially closed at 18 teams. The schedule should be finalized by this weekend and more details will follow shortly.
