Re: ACF Fall New England: Brandeis (6 November 2010)
Matt, I've played in enough tournaments that I recognize that teams should stay till the end; however, Cornell had every desire to play in the playoff backet had we been able to leave at a reasonable time. The drive to Ithaca takes us about 6 hours to do, and frankly speaking, driving on the roads i...

Re: Early Autumn Collegiate Novice at RIT 9/18
Ideally we would only have sent only freshmen, but renting a minivan was far too expensive since Cornell doesn't reimburse for car rentals in an capacity. That said, I was under the impression that these would be closer to ACF Fall level questions as opposed to something similar to high school level...

Maybe this is a little early, but I don't see anyone from SoCal pulling a 9 - 1 prelim at HSNCT anytime soon. Yea, I agree. part of the reason is probably due to SoCal's inability to develop a player capable of dominating HSNCT level lit. Fionaan from SaMo's 05-06 team was the closest we ever got. ...

SaMo will likely lose a step after graduating 3? seniors, but yes, still should be good. the california teams to look out for will likely be santa monica and rancho bernardo.
Edison, Arcadia, Torrey, and others may improve enough over this summer and over the year to become competitive at the national level. from the socal region, i'll look for 5 or so teams to make it to the playoffs.

i'm curious if HSNCT games received more weight in the rankings than did regular season games.
