We gave it a shot, but due to a lack of interest we will call the whole thing off.
Warmest regards to all in the quiz bowl community. It has been a most enjoyable and enriching 15 years.
If ever any of you ever need an extra moderator, let me know. I would love to somehow keep a hand in the game.

Jeff, I am an English teacher, and while I am not innumerate by any stretch, details are often lost on me. Sorry. It likely is #4, which is what my wife keeps telling me. (I am reminded of an old joke: If a married man is alone in the forest is he still wrong?) Because this is my last year of teachi...

Re: Dennis Haskins Open at UTC 3/5/2011
Ezell completely dominated the JV bracket, taking first, second, and third place.
I am proud to say that the Webb Feet, with two players playing in their first tournament, took home the 4th place trophy.

MLK and Ezell are strong this year, as always. Hume Fogg just won MLK's tournament today, and University School made it to the finals at MLK largely because of their freshman phenom.

Charlie and company keep things light, and the trash round at the end of prelims is always a hit with my team. Brindlee Mountain is a team to watch--for the next three years. I believe they started three 9th gr...
