A handful of Georgia schools (Brookwood, Chattahoochee, Walton) will be attending Milligan along with Dorman.

Brookwood could not field enough interest to go to the National Beta Convention. I'm not sure if Georgia will be represented by the 2nd place team (Parkview) or not. Haha, and I kind of wanted to see how my English test score would have stacked up to Nick from Dorman and others...oh well.

I think it's a bit too early to tag any favorites for the upcoming year. However, it is probably safe to assume that the usual handful of state powerhouses won't relinquish their status as likely contenders for the State title. The last quarterfinalist was indeed Brookwood, who defeated Danville and then proceeded to lose to Dorman A.

The Brookwood Invitational Scholar's Bowl is on November 17th and there is still PLENTY of room available for teams who are interested. Please spread the word.
