Congrats to New Trier. At least now i can say my team was knocked out by the eventual state champion.

So...Mason Bowl state is this weekend. I'm unfamiliar with the format. I was wondering what the deal is going to be on Saturday. Is it a 'one and done' thing, or is there some type of consolation. Just by looking at the number of teams, 16, it seems like its going to be a basic 1 v 16, 2 v 15, 3 v 1...

It's a whole other state tournament for illinois. it's sponsored by the Masons (I don't know if they're free masons, or what). You get money for your school for placing well. I really don't know all that much, Jackson, but that's the extent of my knowledge.

I liked the fact that the questions at Kaneland had variety. It's nice to hear literature questions about autors you don't hear about all the time.
