Re: GIT XIV (Delta Burke mirror) at WUSTL - November 7, 2009
Right now, looks like we have 8 teams, and we're not quite sure yet how many packets we'll end up with (up to 14). With only 8 teams, a round robin + advantaged final would use 9 packets at most, so if anyone has some good format/bracketing ideas, I'll gladly take them. Otherwise, see everyone on S...

Re: GIT XIV (Delta Burke mirror) at WUSTL - November 7, 2009
As of right now, looks like:
Mizzou (1)
House team (probably 1, possibly 2)
Drake expressed interest, no confirm though
Additionally, it looks as though FOGHAT will not be happening due to TRASH Regionals also being that weekend.

Re: ACFDB - a new tossup database
Since each question can only be listed in one category, are you interested in misfiled ones? I've been going through all the lit questions, and I've found two history toss-ups, one from 1999 and one from 2000. I can post the specific questions if you're interested/have time to fix them. I think tha...

Outstanding; I'd do this, provided there was a vending machine stocked with Cola somewhere in the building. Writing 80/80 per person seems almost impossible, though. Also, I notice science gets the shaft, as usual I agree with the necessity of large supplies of caffeine for an event like this to be...

I will just throw out that the NKC library computers can't download the 2008 regionals link either. Also, clicking the Fall link takes me to this weird template looking page that I haven't seen since the site was originally revamped over the summer. Yeah, I'm having the same issue with the template...

Verbatim from the MO quiz bowl board: For starters, a huge thanks to everyone at Wash U, this was one of the best run tournaments I've ever attended. To my mind Liberty won the tournament. As much as I appreciate the sentiment, that's just how the format happened to work out. You guys put up more points than us throughout the day in ALL of your games (excepting the one against us). Our highest point total of the day was a measly 390 against Webb...
