1. Chattahoochee -16
2. Brookwood -22
3. Walton -23

Alpharetta's ability to upset at State was proven today when they beat Norcross 180-230. So at State last year, the first half didn't have bonuses? Was there a reason why they did that? my wild guess is that Mr. Barry wanted to try to simulate a 4 quarters tournament instead of the reviled 20TU/Bonus. :smile: The 20 TU/bonus rounds is superior to the 1/2 bonus rounds they use at State....

agreed. I believe this conflicts directly with IB and AP exams... unfortunately, there's not much one can do about that in the month of may sorry, I spoke too soon. oh, and btw. for cedar shoals on the 2nd, a UPENN interview and All-State auditions (rescheduled due to the snow...) are taking away another two of our top four. Needless to say, Norcross will probably be less than spectacular once again.

Berry was a nicely run tournament. It was a bit long given the number of rounds, but fun nonetheless. I would however disagree with the questions being NAQT level in the difficulty. Most of the questions, in the prelims at least, bordered on JV level questions.

I agree. It's rare you find tournaments that reach 30 tossup questions. That just made for more exciting rounds and was probably one of the best formats I've ever seen.

Great tournament Mr. Rountree. Norcross had a great time. The rounds were nicely run and the questions (with the exception of F. Scott Fitzgerald being listed as a character in Great Gatsby) were excellent. Spectacular job and Norcross looks forward to attending next year.
