It definitely occurred. Alabama, MSU, and Tulane (2 teams each) came. I imagine Alabama won, but they had 1 remaining playoff match when we were done, so I can't say for certain.

mixed team (1 - will consist of Alvin, and any extra MSU or Alabama players)

NAQT Sectionals results:

In d1, Alabama A was not seriously challenged the whole day and went 12-0.
In d2, Alabama C beat Mississippi State B in a playoff after both teams went 13-1 on the day.

I played at the Alabama mirror and I thought the questions were fantastic. Still a bit hard for our team, but we're getting there. This was the most fun I've had at a tournament in a while.
