Not even to pointlessly glaze an Alabama team, but Hoover A will be really, really good in the next two years. T21 at HSNCT this year, they retain 3/4 of their A-team, and powerhouse Krish Nathan is only a sophomore.

Good luck to all Arkansas teams playing the New Orleans phase of Chip Bowl this weekend. (Little Rock Central and Russellville I know are on our schedule for JV) Hopefully we can all get out of Chip's grasp soon, but maybe the questions will be a little better this year? I played the virtual one ...

This author claimed that “perfection is terrible, it cannot have children” in “The Munich Mannequins”. This author started one of her famous poems with the line “I have done it again. As someone who played in the Minnesota HS circuit as an 8th Grader and the powers that be were totally supportive of it, I really respect that your team held the line on that matter. My stance is: "If you have the competency to compete at a higher level, then you should be enabled to do so." It's ...

Re: On Middle Schoolers Playing on High School Teams
Yeah, our team's had some problems with this- Latika Prasadh played with us for her 7th and 8th grade years and the first year we're marked as "ineligible" at most tournaments where she played with us. Middle schoolers should totally be allowed to play for their direct high school though ...

I mean we have a really nice association in ASCA, but as far as elite teams go, like Mr. Henry said there's like five really good ones, and nobody in the Top 10.

I mean, most poetry isn't that long, and reading a poem a few times will probably make it stick in your head. I've started reading a little poetry (just a little!) recently and have already gotten some sweet 15s and 30s on bonuses. Quite a few plays are relatively brief and enjoyable too. if you ...

Can confirm, West Point A is a very strong team. Already lost to them once this season, and Brodie was even a little off his game that match. (Plus, they let a few of their A-team players play on their B-team so they weren't even at full strength  ) Maybe ASCTE will win the open division and we ...

Great question. So while it is generally good in life to read the news and be literate in the issues of the day, it is not an effective way to study CE. If you want to study CE, you are studying to mostly get points at NAQT. Going to the Wikipedia list of elections for the year and learning the ...

What are some helpful websites/Youtube channels/etc. good CE players use to study? is there any notable trends for what sort of thing will come up in an NAQT set? (I really hate to ask "how to study," but I think in the case of CE where you can't really packet study it's kind of warranted.)

I'm not sure about the difficulty, it's a bit inconsistent to me, but probably just because of the theme. Maybe around 2-dot? My biggest concern is the placement of the powermarks. Typically, the first word outside of power should make a tossup significantly easier to answer. So like in the Poe TU ...

Ok so I need to get this resolved by someone who knows what they're talking about. The way I understand it, in NAQT rules (unsure about other formats) if there is an article at the beginning of a title, it can be omitted and the answer is still correct.
