For DC-area people, one option still selling tickets that could get people there in time to play (most of) the main event is United flight 635 out of BWI leaving at 7:02 AM and arriving at 8:04 AM at O'Hare. Tickets are currently $160.20 (one way).

The story was mentioned on NPR's Weekend Edition this morning. I don't have a link yet, but I'll try to find one. I would be wary of suggesting that teams eat dinner in the food court. Most of the places in the Crystal City Shops are only open 9-5 Monday through Friday, including restaurants. A few will be open.
