Heh. He then decided to send myself, Travis, another member our team who is known to cave to Doug-pressure, and the Union Representative the link and demanded that we take it down. In that letter, he threatened to sue us for libel and defamation of his character, since he was trying to get the aform...

I have not seen that tattooed on anyone's forehead. I realize that that bonus wasn't the worst one around, but I'm saying that if Melissa Munkel says that the St. Johns River tossup is obvious, then so would the OSU Heisman bonus. If I hadn't considered moving to Jacksonville next year at one point...

If something was in div I, it's ok to talk about regardless of whether or not it was in div 2. Div 2 is a hybrid of div 1 and the other tournament. If something that was in div 1 could potentially appear in a yet unplayed tournament, nobody would be allowed to talk about div 1. Fair enough, but I a...

I think the Sufjan question was a bonus, the first part asked to identify him based on mildly esoteric albums like A Sun Came and Enjoy Your Rabbit The second part asked which two states he wrote albums about (way tough. :P) The third part asked about which serial killer (Gacy) was mentioned in one ...

So, I won't tell you where I got them, because I don't want your misguided adherence to packet propriety to lead you to punish the source. But I will tell you that I then proceeded to send them to literally everyone who frequents the quizbowl chatroom. Here's the thing. You know what improves the c...

This is the point: You can't presume that people will not have heard your questions just because they did not acquire the actual set. "This wouldn't have been a problem had you not done X" is simply false in and of itself, even aside from the issue of whether X actually took place. I step...

Alright, thanks to Michigan, we'll be having a full trash tournament of 8-11 rounds. The trash tourney will also be at Matherly Hall, starting whenever we feel like it. The pricing schedule is as such: $70 base fee -$10 for a half-packet submitted -$20 for packet submitted -$5 for a working buzzer s...

Here's the deal: The tournament is most certainly on, and as far as I know it will be held in Matherly Hall, on the Northeast corner of campus.
