At least when stats are entered as a game summary (similar to SQBS) rather than cycle-by-cycle, Neg5 fails to validate many aspects, making it easy to produce stats that are obviously impossible and, therefore, not useful (and not acceptable to NAQT). Does the scoresheet entry mode do a better job?

Could teams that played SCT last year be surveyed relatively easily? Or this year as part of the registration process (if sct is able to occur), or ask hosts to distribute and scan in surveys along with scoresheets? That seems like a way to sample a larger portion of NAQT’s collegiate customer base...

The tournament is the Community College Championship Tournament, or CCCT. Qualification to it works pretty much analogously to qualification to the ICT: it takes place via a sectional tournament (CC SCT).

I wouldn't.

As a point of comparison, the HSNCT was once in the Chicago area for six consecutive years (2005–2010, inclusive).

NAQT requires that (absent special approval to the contrary) players only play for the school(s) they actually attend. So middle schoolers cannot play for a high school (unless they also take classes there or have special approval), but a player in grade 8 at a K–12 school could play with high schoo...
