Re: ACRONYM League - May/June 2020
Is there a way we can like scrimmage on some of the later packets? Paying for sevens games(assuming elimination in first round of single elim playoffs) is a poor deal in terms of $/hour. My team and I would be happy to play other squads if/when we get eliminated in the playoffs provided we qualify....

Re: 2015 STIMPY: Question-Specific Discussion
The mannerism bonus in packet 5 (Illinois/VCU) referenced Pontormo's deposition (Capponi Chapel) in its second part. This seemed a little odd to me since the work is specifically identified as his Pietà in Janson's (8th ed.) (the Wikipedia Article on the other hand only calls it a deposition). I th...

STIMPY Skype Mirror (4/11)
Hello! I'm looking to gauge interest in a STIMPY Skype mirror. Right now, I think the easiest date for this is on 4/11. I'm interested to hear feedback on any of these categories. This was my first time editing religion, so I'd especially be happy to hear feedback on that. The Kumbh Mela clue is certainly not specific enough, so I'll fix that before future mirrors. Beyond that, I tried to balance it about 70/30-ish b...

Maybe this is just bias because I knew the answer, but didn't the C. Kirchner question seem relatively easy? I'm pretty sure that the lead-in was the same clue as a clue in the middle of an SCT tossup on Argentina and that seemed a bit off. Cayman islands hedge fund NML Capital punished this leader...

Re: George Oppen at U. Maryland (21 Feb. 2015)
Since there are 13 people signed up for Eyes, would it be better to run two rooms and break into a upper/lower bracket halfway through? I've always found 10+ people in a shootout to be non-ideal. It would be better to run two rooms, but that depends on staff and, more pressingly, computer limitatio...

Re: George Oppen at U. Maryland (21 Feb. 2015)
I humbly suggest doing some sort of shootout or "move up / down" every 30 questions or so (a la Guerrilla Lit) for speedchecks, because drafts take forever and are awful. We're going to implement for this speedcheck since it makes things a lot easier. We'll have two seeding packets follow...
