Re: Questions concerning improving at history

I think you are on the right path in your postscript: relating the history knowledge you acquire to what you already know is probably the best way to have things stick in your mind. History is like a map; a piece of it like an individual date or clue will have a lot more meaning for you if you can r...

Re: 2023 Canadian Player Poll

Unlike some other ballots I could name, this one was written without the aid of algorithms, equations, or even statistics. In fact, after consulting with numerous experts in linguistics and literary theory, I have decided to remove all references to number from this ballot, with the sadly unavoidabl...

I am no longer playing quizbowl. Not as a result of this ranking being posted, there are lots of other reasons. I have finally escaped the bowl and am now scampering across the dining table. Sadly, most of you will be eaten.

Re: Penn Bowl Online hosted by Ohio State

Would you consider using zoom and buzzin.live for gameplay instead? During the pandemic, pretty much all online tournaments were initially run in this way, with everything taking place on discord, including camera feeds and buzzing. Over the summer of 2021, Canadian tournaments transitioned to using...

Hi, just a couple questions about this tournament.

First, could we get an update on the field so far?

And second, on what platform will gameplay take place?

Thanks.

I have bled more than a full sentence on multiple tossups when I've read for discord tournaments, among the other usual issues with it. I've used buzzman to read for games between friends, and while it does have cer...
