We are thrilled to announce that the MOQBA Fall Championship has been awarded platinum certification from the Partnership for Academic Competition Excellence! As a result, the top 25% of the field will qualify for the National Scholastic Championship in Chicago on June 10-11, 2017.

I will agree that the To Kill a Mockingbird bonus stood out as too easy, even for this level.

In all I thought this was a pretty solid tournament minus the repeat issues that have already been alluded to. I might have some more thoughts later.

I would support this. I think math is important enough at the high school level that we can easily justify giving math theory at least one question a game, if not even 1/1, and that there are enough accessible topics available to fill this demand.
