Re: Fall Open at NYU (Nov. 9, 2019)

Would anyone who is playing/staffing this tournament be interested in playing Reel Knowledge (the academic film set) as a side event? I'm looking at traveling to New York around the time of this tournament. If I am in New York, I would probably look at staffing (or, god forbid, playing) Fall Open. I...

Re: Visual Arts General Discussion

I kind of wish that there was more silent film in this set. I played 8 all packets, and having to wait until literally the last question for a silent film question seems a bit off to me. Like, you're basically ignoring 30% of the 20th century wrt the film category when this tournament was supposed t...

Re: The Unanswered Question: A 20th Century Fine Arts Tournament

a tournament centering on fine arts in the year 1900 and beyond
Can you clarify this wording? The title classifies this as a 20th century fine arts tournament, but this statement indicates that works from the 21st century would be fair game.

Re: NYC Summer Open date poll

How close was the public vote on the main event set? Because I have a feeling that people voted pro-NASAT and anti-NASAT, with anti-NASAT people splitting the vote between Cambridge Open and Oxford Open.

Re: Terrapin @ MIT (3/2/19)

Just to clarify the situation about our team, Columbia will in fact be attending the MIT site of Terrapin this Saturday. We've dropped out of the College Park site, and the MIT site will be the only site at which Columbia will be fielding a team.

Re: 2019 Division II SCT: specific question discussion

Overall I enjoyed this set. I agree with the other commenters' concerns for the most part. - The British architecture tossup and bonus probably shouldn't have been in the same set, much less back to back. The fact that they were back to back was honestly by far the worst editing I've seen in my shor...
