I thoroughly enjoyed the tournament, and was very impressed with the caliber of the teams involved. Congratulations to Wash U A for besting us in the final, and thanks to Iowa for a smoothly run tournament.

Speaking strictly as a freshman player who hasn't been exposed to a large number of collegiate level questions, I thought that most of them were well written and not terribly far beyond the difficulty that I would expect of a college-level tournament, albeit a shocking transition from high school.

yeah... good point.

They managed to go 7-1 at the varsity tournament this year, earning first place.

Even though the competition is not exactly "stiff" at that tournament, they still held their own against many larger schools.
