Yes, we would take registrations that late for a few teams but would prefer to have them earlier. Our biggest problem with teams registering late is getting enough good readers at the last minute.

I haven't contacted Dr. Chuck this year but last year (and our tournament format hasn't changed), top finishers in Spotswood's ACT tournaments were eligible for wild card bids to PACE. You might contact him to see if this is still the situation.

Regarding the Kansas teams, I believe there is some type of stipulation that they cannot go out of state to play in tournaments. I know that ASCN often had teams from Kansas City, Mo. but never any from the Kansas side, and that is the reason that was given.
