Welcome to the homepage of Quizbowl at VCU.

If you are interested in joining the quizbowl program here, then you should mail Matt Weiner at mattweiner.vcu@gmail.com or just show up to a practice (see schedule).

Any VCU student regardless of class level or prior experience/skill with quizbowl is welcome to join the team. Practices are open to all VCU students and other quizbowl players in the area.

2009-2010 calendar of possible activities:

OCTOBER 2009	NOVEMBER 2009	DECEMBER 2009
We attended the Early Fall Tournament at UVa on October 3 and finished fourth. We attended the THUNDER tournament at Penn on October 24 and finished second. We hosted ACF Fall on October 31.	We hosted a high school tournament on November 7. We hosted TRASH Regionals on November 8. We attended Terrapin at Maryland on November 14 and finished third.	We will be hosting a high school tournament on December 5.
JANUARY 2010	FEBRUARY 2010	MARCH 2010
ACF Winter is on January 16. We will attend the NC Wesleyan site. We will be hosting a high school tournament on January 23. We will be attending Penn Bowl on January 30.	NAQT Sectionals is on February 6. We will attend the Knoxville site. ACF Regionals is on February 20. We will likely attend, pending an announcement of the tournament location.	Harvard International is on March 20. We may attend if the travel is affordable.
APRIL 2010	MAY 2010	JUNE 2010
We will be hosting a high school tournament on April 3. NAQT Intercollegiate Championship Tournament is on April 10. We may attend, pending an announcement of the tournament location. We will be attending ACF Nationals on April 17 at Maryland.	We will be hosting a high school tournament on May 1.	No events scheduled for this month.
