UCLA Winter Invitationals (26 January 2008) at UCLA

UCLA is proud to announce the first Winter Invitationals at UCLA. All high schools, new and old, are welcome to play. This will be an NAQT Nationals Qualifier.

DATE: Saturday 26 January 2008

ELIGIBILITY: All high school students are eligible to play.

FORMAT: NAQT Invitational Set: 73A. Standard untimed, 21-toss-up rounds. Official NAQT rules.

Team Discounts
$100 Base Price
-$5 Per every functioning buzzer system (Four buzzers per side)
-$5 Per pre-approved moderator
-$10 Multiple Team Discount; discounted for each additional team that a school brings.

School-Wide Discounts
-$10 New School Discount (May not have played NAQT since 2005 and may not have played at any UCLA-sanctioned tournament ever)

$75 Minimum Base Price per Team

WARNING! If a school's full payment is not present by tournament start, the entire school will be disqualified from playing at the tournament

Checks are to be made out to: "College Bowl Club of UCLA"

- Coach / Representative (must be present at tournament) and e-mail address
- Number of teams attending
- Discounts to be validated

Initially, there is no limit to the number of teams allowed to play. This may change at TDs' discretion.

Thanks to all the schools and staff members who made this tournament a success. We hope to make this tournament a permanent fixture in future UCLA tournament schedules.

Congratulations to Arcadia A for being our overall tournament winner and to Jeff from Rancho Bernardo for being our top individual scorer.

We look forward to seeing you at future UCLA tournaments!
