ITT Your Favorite (Or Funniest) Movie Death
I can't decide between these two.
HEY PAUL! From American Psycho
Starship Troopers, go to Six Minutes, its that guy getting killed you need to watch.

If we want to go old school, I would say Lost Horizon is way up there. (I can't find it on youtube. It's from 1937)
As far as funny goes, probably the guy that falls off the top of the Titanic and hits the giant propeller. Watching that in slow motion, several times in a row was a staple at my 5th-grade slumber parties.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=xWx2GpQgW8M It's a joke video, but it's worth it.
Here's a compilation of the funniest death scenes. I'm adding all these movies to my netflix queue.

Not by Hoyle funny, but after being forced to endure Titanic, I did stand and applaud Leonardo's death. I considered it more a "win for the audience" than actually funny.lasercats wrote:As far as funny goes, probably the guy that falls off the top of the Titanic and hits the giant propeller.
Funny death: The caveman eaten in the "Dawn of Man" sequence in History of the World, Part 1.

While the death itself is nothing special, the scene contains the singe greatest line in cinema history.

Well, my film arts teacher loved the scene in Birth of a Nation where Flora decides to jump off a cliff after the evil black lecher tries to have sex with her so much that she replayed it like 3 times in class.

I think the cat scene in Boondock Saints deserves a mention.

''Is it dead????'' This is instantly one of the funniest film lines ever penned. How does MW not love this comedy!cornfused wrote:I think the cat scene in Boondock Saints deserves a mention.
If we're going to get into a necrobeastacomedy or whatever .... the horse from "Animal House" has to be up there. But the best would be Michael Palin as Ken the Animal Lover in A Fish Called Wanda -- trying to kill the lone witness to their crime, but doing so only a he can. All four deaths documented in one single video:

The film death that garners the most tears from me is definitely Satine's death in Moulin Rouge.

Robert Downey Jr. as Lord Rivers in Richard III (the one with Ian McKellen). Priceless.

How about in Goldfinger when Auric gets sucked out of the plane fuselage?
