As of this writing, there are nine spots left in the
272-team field of the 2017 High School National Championship Tournament. (Two spots are reserved for teams from specific qualifying events in March.) We encourage interested, qualified teams to
register in the very near future.
When the field fills, we will immediately begin a waitlist, and teams who have already registered will have one week to cancel before a cancellation penalty fee takes effect (the cancellation fee after that point is $337.50, equivalent to one-half the base fee for HSNCT registration). If the waitlist reaches 16 teams at any time between the end of that one week and May 1, we will expand the HSNCT field to 288 teams (and promote the teams on the waitlist).
