The University of Georgia is pleased to announce that we will be mirroring Penn Bowl on Saturday October 24th. Details regarding its distribution, writing corps, and other information can be found in the original forum post: http://www.hsquizbowl.org/forums/viewto ... =8&t=17381

Location and Schedule: The tournament format will vary based on the size of the field. All matches will be in the Geography/Geology building, located on Sanford Drive by Sanford Stadium, as seen on this map: https://www.architects.uga.edu/sites/de ... 5color.pdf
The tournament will begin at 9:00 AM.

Costs:
Base fee: $120 per team
Working buzzer discount: $10 each
Approved moderator discount: $15 each
Travel discount: $10 (more than 200 miles one way according to Google maps)

Payment: We accept payment in cash or checks, which must be made out to either “UGA” or “University of Georgia.” We cannot accept credit cards.

Registration: To register, please e-mail [email protected]. If you do not receive confirmation within a day, please let us know. Please include how many teams, staffers, and buzzers you’re able to bring. The initial cap is 16 teams. We look forward to seeing you in the Classic City!

We're down to only 2-3 spots left with only two weeks to go, so if you're interested in coming, please e-mail [email protected].

Also, a short logistics e-mail was sent out over the weekend, with the main gist of it being to show up to the Geography/Geology Building (210 Field Street, Athens, GA) at 8:30. For ease of parking, it's actually best to park along Sanford Drive as all lots are free on Saturdays. We look forward to a Saturday in Athens!

Final stats are located here. Georgia Tech ran the field for first place, with UGA A in second and Florida A in 3rd. We'd like to thank everyone who came out to participate and of course thank the volunteers they brought who did an incredible job helping our tournament run relatively smoothly.
